One of the biggest perks of having an annual pass in 2017 was the 20% discount passholders received at most Disney-owned dining locations on property – table service and quick services included. This discount was technically a promotion, part of Walt Disney World’s 45th anniversary celebration, which was extended to December 23, 2017. However, the promotion has now ended, and the dining discount for annual passholders has been once again reduced to the standard 10% at most table service restaurants. Disney has not released any information to say if quick service restaurants will be added to the list of discounted restaurants. (See the full list here.)
Disney has claimed to soften the blow by adding more restaurants to the discounted list, but it seems as though it is virtually the same list as before the 45th anniversary promotion, and while passholders knew that the 20% discount was only a promotion, there was some hope Disney would just include the 20% as canon, especially considering all the revenue annual passholders account for on a yearly basis.
