In keeping with the latest trend of dessert parties at Walt Disney World, Disney is adding another to the mix at the Magic Kingdom. Currently, all dessert parties are pre-fireworks, so guests have their fill of food and are then escorted to a private viewing area with fellow dessert party-goers. Until now…
Beginning tonight, Disney will offer a post-fireworks dessert party, where dessert party-goers have access to the Plaza Garden viewing area for Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular before being escorted to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant to indulge in a new all-you-can-eat dessert buffet.
The treats on the menu are inspired by each of the lands around Magic Kingdom. Among some of the treats are the S’mores Action Station (Frontierland), Pineapple Delights (Adventureland), Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes (Liberty Square), Macarons (Fantasyland), a Cookie Table (Tomorrowland), and Strawberry Tarts (Main Street U.S.A.). There will also be other offerings! Snacks like cheese cubes, spinach dip with crackers, house-made mini egg rolls, and fresh fruit will also be available. Guests can also wet their whistle with beverages such as sparkling apple juice, coffee, tea, and milk.
During holidays and special ticketed events (Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party/Very Merry Christmas Party), this dessert party will still be offered and the treats will be themed to the occasion.
The cost for the “After Fireworks Dessert Party” is $69 for adults and $41 for children. Guests can begin making reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE or online.
