Back by popular demand, Disney After Hours have been extended to 2019. Disney After Hours is a hard-ticket event that allows ticket holders access to the Magic Kingdom after the park has closed to the general public, to experience most attractions with little to no wait. Guests are also offered complimentary snacks (did someone say Mickey bars and popcorn?) and beverages.
The new dates are:
- 1/7, 1/17, 1/24, 1/28, 2/7, 2/28: 8pm – 11pm
- 2/14, 3/7: 9pm – 12am
- 12/3, 12/10: 10pm – 1am
The ticket costs $125+ tax or $129 for day of purchase. DVC and Annual Passholder discounts are available for this event. Remember, this ticket will get you access to the park starting at 7:00 p.m., but you must have a regular theme park ticket to gain entry into the Magic Kingdom any earlier.
Guests can book their tickets to the event either online, or by calling 407-827-7185.
Dreamer Amy’s Take: Disney After Hours is the single best night I have ever had in a Disney Park. I have been so incredibly blessed to experience the four theme parks that make up Walt Disney World dozens of times, so a lot of different trips blend together. This night, however, this unbelievable wonderful night and the memories my sister and I made on it – sitting on the Adventureland bridge and taking photos because no one was around, doing heel-clicks through the Fantasyland bottleneck between Peter Pan’s Flight and it’s a small world, and staying on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin just because we could – will stay with me forever. If you will be in Disney for one of these nights or have the ability to make a special trip, DO IT! It is worth every. single. penny.
